The AIPN National Executive calls for nominations for the 13th Australian Injury Prevention Network Awards, which will be awarded at this year’s AIPN Conference in Ballarat, 13-15 November 2017.
There are four award categories to acknowledge the diversity of contribution made to our field:
- Achievement in Research in Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion
- Pam Albany Memorial – Contribution to Policy in Injury Prevention and Safety
- Achievement in Practice in Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion
- Special Award for Sustained Achievement in Injury Prevention
Nominations for these awards need to be made by AIPN members, either individuals or as staff of corporate members.
The awards recognises both AIPN and non AIPN members.
Selection criteria for all categories include excellence in communication skills, collaborative work, mentoring of junior colleagues, originality of contribution and overall contribution to injury prevention.
To nominate yourself, or a colleague, simply complete the AIPN Award Nomination Form and return to the AIPN Secretariat. Further information, and details of past recipients, can be found on the AIPN Website.
