Dr Amy Peden

Ex-Officio Member

Dr Amy Peden is an injury prevention researcher and lecturer in the School of Population Health. She holds adjunct appointments with James Cook University and the George Institute for Global Health. Much of her work focuses on drowning prevention, regional and remote communities, social determinants of health and alcohol. Dr Peden is also a Senior Research Fellow with Royal Life Saving Society – Australia and is a member of the International Life Saving Federation Drowning Prevention and Public Education Commission.
