Every two years, the AIPN organise a conference to share the latest evidence, encourage best practice and provide networking opportunities for injury prevention professionals in Australia and New Zealand. Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we are unable to hold our scheduled AIPN conference in 2021. Check out our other upcoming events and webinars being hosted online and in-person throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Thank you to those who registered for or attended the 2022 Russ Milner Memorial Lecture with A/Prof Warwick Teague. The Australasian Injury Prevention Network (AIPN) has established the Russ Milner Memorial Lecture in memory of Russ’s contribution to, and passion for, injury prevention. Russ always showed professionalism, enthusiasm, commitment to injury prevention and his work demonstrated the importance of the translation of evidence to policy.

This lecture aims to inspire other injury prevention practitioners to embody those values and showcase those who do. The lecture will be delivered biannually and will showcase people, organisations or projects that contribute to injury prevention capacity building or translation of evidence into policy or practice. In this way, we will continue to remember, honour and be inspired by the contributions Russ made to our field.
