Join the AIPN for a presentation facilitated by Dr Lisa Sharwood, featuring distinguished guest speaker Professor Sarah Anderson.
Navigating Bias and Governance: Embedding Ethical AI in Injury Prevention and Workplace Safety.
Professor Anderson is Director of the Institute for Safety, Compensation and Recovery Research (ISCRR) and Professor of Workplace Health, Safety and Wellbeing at Monash University. With more than 20 years' experience across academia, policy, disability and healthcare and lived experience of workplace injury, she specialises in workplace injury prevention, recovery and systems-level WHS reform. An allied health clinician by training, Sarah holds a PhD in Ergonomics and Human Factors, a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics, and is an Adjunct Associate Professor in Prosthetics and Orthotics. Her qualifications are complemented by executive education in artificial intelligence and company directorship, which inform her interest in AI, governance and system-level reform.
